Moving On To Next Project
This project is officially done (from my part at least), the only thing I have to do is wait for my docent to sign the paper so I can present it for review. I’m going to move on to another project especially the one that got delayed (or even canceled) because of my final paper. Here’s what I call a “cross-road” plan (why do I call it that? I’ll tell you on my next post):
Dividing this blog into two “subjects”
If you’re an avid reader of this blog (I’m hoping that many people raises hand :) ), you will notice that the subject I cover on this blog varies on a very wide range (from personal stuffs up to business up to investing up to trading) which is not very effective (search engine wise or comfortable-to-read wise).
So I’m going to spin-off parts of this blog into a different blog address. The new blog will cover everything finance (stocks, options, futures, forex, fundamentals, technicals, you name it). This in rhyme with my next move. You might say that the spin-off directly devalues permagnus.com but I say to you this, the spin-off will only make this blog better because I can write just about whatever I wanted without alienating the people who reads this blog just for the finance content. This will be revealed next week (and I probably won’t be porting my previous finance-related post from this blog to that — it’s just too much work).
This way I can have a blog that is jack of all trades (this blog) and another niche blog that specifically discuss the financial market. More after the jump
Transferring all of my funds to foreign equity
All this time the biggest (almost all actually) of my trading activity happens in Indonesia’s capital market. After the big loss, I already succeed regained a big chunk of that money and decided its time to move to a market which is more stable and offers more opportunity (read: options market). I managed to regained 70-80% of the losses in 3 months (not bad I think) and I’m fully loaded to face another challenge.
However that doesn’t mean I completely leaving Indonesia market, I’m still going to trade here with my margin account, just not as much (my main focus from this day on will be foreign equity market — I’m thinking about US, UK, Japan, and China).
Continuing my work on content business
By content business I mean anything that has content be it a site (this blog is a content entity although not necessarily a business since I don’t treat it as a business — although I will treat the spin-offed blog as one), a magazine (like Teknopreneur), or a hosted free blogging platform. I’m going on that three direction once I graduated from this 4 year college
To sum up everything, I’m going full speed on three directions; Creating a new blog and continuing a blog network (it’s a long time passion but not fulfilled yet, building a content network is harder than you think from the initial 7 blog only one is still running); Continuing my work at the magazine (it’s important to get new contacts on people); and last but not the least, passionately challenging the world equity market.
All and all, the world after college is indeed very interesting (plus I’m also considering a suggestion from a friend of mine to apply for a position at the UN).

investing in foreign stock will only mean more risk and more fx fees - not the best idea.
