Where The Bull and The Bear Clash
What happened in the past several days in Indonesian market is really shaking me. I lost almost 50% of my total portfolio value and that really took my by the neck. This is not healthy and I have to get back to my drawing board (er… I mean study board). Finish my final paper and learn some new techniques (I still can’t draw a concise trend, support, and resistance line).

@hanindyo: Yes true lesson learnt. Sekarang malah mainnya dikit-dikit, di bawah 5 lot lah. Kemarin beli lagi TLKM karena secara TA sudah break-out dengan volume lumayan.
Kemaren juga main CTRA tapi ga hokkie hehehe. Dan untuk PGAS, ada temen yang bahkan bilang, PGAS sih untuk swing trading saja begitu katanya :P
Kayaknya saya mau cabs ah dari pasar Indonesia, memang bandarnya banyak banget.

Anyway, going to post what I’ve learnt from the burn out soon ;)
May this incident really then put you to re-evaluate and consider all unforseen element to be incorporated in your analysis.

hold it ajah,.. if ure not using margin the fund would be back on the previous level on maximum 6 months-span. unless ur stock is “troubled one”, but every stocks of jsx(on the lq’s) would be back atleast on the half of this year.

eits eits bos, jgn lantas kabur dari market indo. justru krn banyak bandarnya itu kita bisa untung gede setaun, min 30%lah…
simply buy and hold index, ato indexing sendiri ngikut lq45, udah, tinggal liat makro, historikal low level of index, asal level suku bunga, cadangan devisa, neraca pembayaran masih oke. angka investasi membaik. jangan kabur dulu dari indo, instead go on 2 extreme strategies; hold portfolio identical to index, ato kopi susunan aset manajemen yg pake strategi alpha maksimum (fortis,shroder,makinta)(portfolio mereka bisa diliat di bapepam ato infovesta, tapi kalo saya emang sengaja beli penyertaan di 3 tempat itu barang 50juta. buat benchmarking ajah).
nah ato kalo emang kuat ama resiko, ada cara lebih ekstrim lagih.
beli aja saham yg harganya dibawah 500, tapi laporan keuangan 2-3tahun terakhir masih bisa prospektif, kalo kira2 nemu 10 aja saham kaya gitu di JSX, sikat ajah.
minimal dalam setaun 5 dari 10 saham itu akan diangkat…
sing penting sabar, targetnya beat market dalam setaun..

hehe kebakaran ya…lesson learnt dari sini, musti ada peluru kedua, ketiga dan seterusnya, baik itu kapital tambahan, margin, asuransi dlsbnya.. hehehehe.
kalo kata orang equity ga selamanya bisa ngeliatin teknikal utk di Indonesia…anomali lah pasar kita ini.
tek tok tek tok aja yang kecil-kecil sementara waktu gitu. INAF, CPRO, CTRA Kalbe. TINS didiemin aja dulu. PGAS nunggu waktu.
kemarin ada joke baru diantara temen-temen: market itu dari tahun ke tahun akan cenderung sideways di bulan januari awal sampai dengan Imlekan naaah baru tuh pada naik. hahahhahaa. ayo tetap semangat!
