Internet On Again… Sort of

Well the internet is on again on my side (I’m in Indonesia and using Melsa) after the Taiwan earthquake. I got little to no difficulties visiting foreign server so I guess everything is sorted out? I thought it will take weeks?

2006 Wrapups

Here’s my list of things I have done (for better or worse) in 2006

My equity rose around 30%+ this year which is not bad if considering the Fed interest rate is hovering between 5-5.25% and Indonesia’s central bank rate is somewhere under 10% (is it? Sheez… I miss using Google or Yahoo to do a [...]

Taiwan Disaster and Asia’s Internet Meltdown

Asia’s internet connection took a big hit today after the Taiwan earthquake. Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore’s internet connection is reportedly having a significant slow down due to the interruption of the international backbone that goes through under-water fibre-optic lines crossing Taiwan. For the rest of this day, I can’t access many international sites (including Google [...]

Welcome Ninja!

She’s fast, she looked cool, she can do the best of both worlds, and she’s black. Please welcome my new “girlfriend”, the Ninja!

Yeah I know the photo quality is shitty (I took it with my K610i with no auto-focus and is very weak on a low-light room). I’m going to post more pictures later when [...]

And Away She Goes, Here Comes the Mac

I just sold my laptop yesterday night. I felt very heavy to part with her and on the same time feel very relieved. Heavy because she’s been with me for almost a year and had done everything she can to do what I’m doing as smoothly as possible. Relieved because now I’m free from bug-ridden [...]

Greed and Fear Can Kill Your Profit

Every good trader knows a sentence “Don’t be too greedy”. So I guess I’m not a good trader then. The day before yesterday, PGAS sank to 11300 level. Many investors and traders alike are trying to bail out of their position due to unfortunate regional investment climate due to Thailand’s new monetary policy (although they [...]

Should I Retire My Laptop?

My laptop’s condition lately is being less than I expected. It hangs a lot especially when I use many programs on background. Mind you, I’m using 1GB of RAM so I don’t think not enough physical memory is the problem in this case. My main suspicion lies in the inefficiencies of some of the program. [...]

Rafting and Simplicity of Trading

Yesterday I went on rafting in Citarum water stream. The event was great and fun with me bruising in several places. However, the most important part of the event is not rafting, but rather trading. I know it’s kinda silly to correlates trading and some semi-extreme physical activity such as rafting but I do find [...]

Google Copied Yahoo! ?

Although seemed unlikely (considering Google is leading the pack right now) but it is indeed Google has copied Yahoo! Toolbar upgrade page. Although they have taken down the whole pages and uploaded a new one, you can see a very similiar “touch” on both pages. You can see the page in question on Zawodni’s post.

Trading Review Up to December 5th 2006

Still remember my previous post here? Well I haven’t done anything much about my virtual trading account in OPX since I’m very busy with new projects and stuffs (I’m also organizing an options basic 1day training due January or February) not to mention that I’m monitoring two market to keep up with things. This is [...]
