Deleting Some Posts
Today I purged some of my old post, ranging from April to July 2004. There are many reasons on why I deleted it. One is the legality of some of my post and the second is, well…, I just don’t want anyone to read it anymore :P.
I have posted some questionable materials on the past such as posting a download links of illegal download on this blog. At that time (2 years ago?), I’m not fully aware that there is such thing as piracy or illegal thing such as providing download link on your site. And since I’m aware that those kind of things are illegal, I’m deleting it for the sake of the intellectual property’s owner and for my own sake. The deal is done, out of cluelessness, and this is my way to mend it.
And some of the other post also have some ‘questionable’ materials of other degree. One of my main reason to start a blog in the past (at that time is at Blogger) is to heal my heart by writing to ease the pain. At that time, I have a falling out from a serious relationship. I’m 18 at that time and a ’serious’ relationship might be different to my current interpretations (oh boy, how clueless I am back then…). The blog grows greater than my expectations. My plan to closing it down with my last post on September 2004 failed because I just discovered a new passion, passion for writing!
And since the objectives of this blog changed, so does the content. I think some broken-heart-monkey-love-kind-of-posts don’t go too well with trading and investing materials that I tried to push for the theme of this blog. So regrettably they have to go :-(
On another matter, I haven’t post anything stock-related lately, that’s because I’m on the road on holiday, visiting my family to celebrate the Eid. See you guys next week for a better coverage on stock market with a fresh new outlook ;-) See ya!
I have my old posts from an earlier part of my life as well stored somewhere in a Blogger account. I don’t want to import it into my WP because that time was too painful for me. But I also don’t want to get rid of it, because they were 200+ entries. LOL! Oh the sickness that is a cyber packrat, hehe!
However, it is good that you are keeping a clear record online. It helps with future employment. =)
