My Unusual Stupidity
Okay this is just stupid. This morning I called the organizer of the options training to ask when will the workshop starts. I got this response instead:
“Oskar, we will start today at 6″
“Huh?” I asked. “6 o’clock in the morning?? Who would’ve come?!” I then asked cluelessly, unable to hide my confusion.
“No, it’s 6 o’clock in the evening. We will have our computer session today at [some internet cafe's name].”
Another stupid “huh?” is produced by my mouth. Mind you, I just woke up at 7.30 AM after not sleeping for the rest of the night fiddling with some of my future articles. Then I added, “But I thought we will have computer session by the end of the training.”
“It is the end of the training!” She became irritated.
“Wait, isn’t the training is between 16th of September till 18th of September?” I then asked her — definitely showing how unusually stupid I am this morning.
“Yes that’s true, and today is 18th of September!”
By that remark, my head’s spinning. I’m living two days behind the normal person’s calendar date… Oh dear God!
