Earthquake in Yogyakarta
My mom just called that there’s an earthquake in Yogyakarta and throughout Central Java and East Java. I promptly turn on the TV to watch MetroTV to get more details about it (and of course, opening up my browser to access detik.com). My TV reception isn’t too good so what I got is a blurry image about something that’s… blurry.
Detik.com isn’t helpful too. They do display the current statistic of the dead and alive and also the overall situation aftermath. But browsing to the earlier news (around 6 AM today) is somewhat very hard to do to its cluttered interface. So, till this moment, I still don’t know what caused the quake. Is it the mother-of-all-eruption of Merapi (since it’s already erupted May 15th).
So, desperately seeking for what really happened (and what caused it), I turn to a very unlikely news source… Planet Terasi. It so happens that blogger can spit out news better than detik.com (although somewhat jumbled between noise too). Ah… it’s a good day to prove that blog is just as good as mainstream media.
But of course, this is not a good day for Indonesia and my deepest condolescence to whoever takepart in this tragedy.

Dengan kekuatan sekitar 6SR, korban jatuh lebih dari 5000 orang, bisa bayangkan betapa dahsyatnya kan?
Btw, penampilan baru, bagus juga. :)
