IHSG (Index Saham Gabungan) opened at 1427 and tanked as further as 88 points today with today’s low of 1339. At the time of this writing, IHSG is still on its bearish moves although not as deep as yesterday. At 3:14, 46 minutes before market closing, the index sits at 1418. Blood smell is still on the air…

Mas Carlos, saya justru nemuinnya untuk bulan ini korelasinya negatif loh. Hari ini DJIA sama NASDAQ turun, IHSG malah naek. Korelasi kuatnya justru dengan HANG SENG dan NIKKEI225. Kalau index koreksi, ini sangat mungkin, tapi sampe berapanya masih jadi tanda tanya :-). Saya sih berharap index bullish terus hehehe.

hari ini NYSE imposed arbitrase trading collar aga stock tidak fall off terlalu jauh.
anyway dari TA, nasdaq/NDX sudah di titik major resistance. Jadi minggu2 depan kemungkinan besar nasdaq akan rebounces. tech stock bakal recover :)) buying opportunity.
btw, sell off kemaren ini karena bernanke menaikan interest rate.
Efeknya:
Interest rate –> USD index menguat —> commodities melemah , metal/gold/oil jatuh.
nah mungkin karena usd menguat dan disatu sisi commodites melemah, indonesia
stock jatuh juga. Coba check stock seperti FCX/freeport dan rio tinto dalam 3 hari ini free falls. Saya punya posisi long puts untuk rio tinto lho .. he he he :))
Btw, untuk hedging, saya long Indonesia Funds ETF (IF), kemaren jatuh dari 14 ke 9.9 :))
