It’s been quite a while for me to do some blogwalking. It’s not that I don’t want to and feel extremely superior, it’s just that I’m really busy and not in the right state of the mind to do so. I do blogwalking to several of my favorite blogs but rarely leave a comment lately. I don’t know why but probably that got something to do with my current state of the mind.

Many things contribute to this. Such as the current progress of my college, the current project of my business, the current project of my trading activity and such. This is probably one of the rare very personal stuffs that I’ll ever wrote. If you don’t fancy reading personal stuffs on blog, don’t mind reading further. Another plus, you will find somewhat an arrogance post here. It’s very unlike me to be arrogant but this post is an exception. I need to be arrogant on this one.

Current state of my study
Not very good. I have absent quite alot from my studies due to health drop. I even have to reschedule a trip to India (which in the end was canceled, but my parents still went there). I rarely done the task because I think those task are just too trivial, not worth the effort to write it down. For example, we have to calculate the ratio of a company which is a very easy task because all we have to do is inserting the numbers to the formula.

Picking the numbers from a financial report might be tricky but that’s not a mind challenging task anyway. The other task might include the analysis of a question and convert it to a statistical method. And since business statistic is “the dummy of statistic”, this is also a trivial thing. I prefer doing it using stochaic method or deterministic. I am yet to learn to use probabilistic method in which you have to create a simulation on things.

Because of these, I rarely do the task and might affect my grades. Not that I care about it anyway.

But among those boring tasks, there are also a rather interesting task such as creating your own business plan on the Entrepreneurship class. I doubt that the lecturer will read the business plan anyway (mine’s quite long) but nonetheless, since I like to plan (and often failed to execute), I found this task interesting.

Current trading activity
I’m not currently holding any stock right now. The stock market is sky rocketing lately, probably because the December effect (is there such an effect?) where people are trying to gain something from the market by buying and selling stock vigorously. Every bluechip stock are increasing in price making it very unprofitable to buy now.

For all of you who wanted to gain some profit on the stock market, do your analysis right. I prefer using Yahoo Finance (since it’s free and the graph is quite helpful) and MetaStock (it’s not free BTW). I think I’m right on track by holding my self to go long for this December.

Current event on business
I’ve found that my business is right on track (I think). Unlike our previous business on web hosting industry where no one (except me — I’ve told you, it’s an arrogant post) knows what they are talking about, now we do really know what we are talking about by heart. I can’t talk about what the business is right now, probably I’m going to make a post about it in the future.

We are still using the name “iServasia”. I forgot who offered the name, it’s either Saptomo or Lucky, I just forgot.

We were once in business about web hosting, it turns out that it didn’t pan out well. I personally had lost a great amount of money on that venture (can we call it as a venture?) and decided that we have to move on to something else. And this is the “something else”. We have just finished our last meeting before launch yesterday night and hopefully during this week everyone can function as they we agreed. Everything is going fine. Well not fine really, and that’s probably what caused the abnormality on my state of mind. I won’t tell you know, maybe later when I know how the field is being played.

Another info on this, I will also start another blog, now in Indonesian, dealing with stock market. That to include on my blog portofolio of business (trayspot, this stock market blog) and technology (quadza). Stay tuned.
