Color Scheme… Anyone?

Okay, I have a hard time on modifying the CSS here. Not that I can’t read the file, it’s just that I can’t seem to find one color to match the others. So far I have used #1E90FF for the links and #00BFFF for visited links. There are still some part unmodified. I’m planning to change the color for the page tabs above, and also the background for the asides.

Can you guys advice me on what color to choose and does the link color matches with the overall theme? I never realize that choosing a color can be this hard…

edit: I’ve finished on most part of the site. The color code on the aside section will be dealt later and so does the header image. Do you guys know how to narrow the border of the asides? I’ve tried using CSS to add the style onto it but it just won’t change.

I see that you use the color of the “alert” div for your Asides. Well, I think it’s to bright. Afterall that’s why it’s used for the “alert” div. Perhaps you should go with much lighter toned color. A bit greyish?

Probably I’ll try that later Eric, I have something to do and must be done before dawn tomorrow. But before that, I need to change the padding or the margin so that the top-bottom margin isn’t goint too wide like it is now.

Thanks for helping me sorting through those CSS problem Eric, probably tomorrow we’ll find a workaround this margin-padding problem :P

With the round corner? Well yeah but I think k2’s more of a function rather than design, so It’s okay by me :).

A li’l bit too simple? Desain barunya kok…….kosong banget kar…link buat commentnya ga keliatan pula…ayo dong design lagi,design lagi!

@Inoel: Hah, link buat commentnya yang bagian mananya? Itu perasaan angka di samping title cukup besar dan jelas deh. Simple is the ultimate complexity :)

bagus - bagus , cuma headernya memang gak ada gambarnya, sebaiknya di css nya di set berapa px untuk headernya jika tidak ingin, mempergunakan header.

oh iyah untuk link kamu bisa pake kelas hover untuk menampilkan warna link lain jika pointer ada diatas nya.

sejauh ini bagus dan okey saja.

@kus: sebenernya pas hover itu pasti ada underline buat nandain kalo itu link (selain pembedaan warna). Kayaknya buat hover over-nya nanti saja deh buat versi yang akan datang.

Dan itu headernya sebenernya ada image-nya kok cuma ukurannya memang gede banget (sekitar 200kb). Mau saya ganti tapi sekarang sedang ada di Cirebon dan di sini komputer engga ada yang punya photoshop/GIMP dan kalaupun ada, kemampuan prosesor/memory-nya engga bakalan cukup untuk ngejalanin program kayak gitu ;)
