The Right Name


At last today I have fix the name on my Bandung ID. It cost me like Rp20.000 for reprint which I resist on paying at first since this is their fault anyway. But I’m in a hurry so well… there goes my twenty. After I got home and done my exam, I just remembered that I have to fix the “Kartu Keluarga” also because it’s still emblazed the old (and wrong) spelling. Geez, I guess I have to go back there tomorrow…

@Mala: Ya memang, tapi suatu saat nanti gw bakal membutuhkan mereka lagi. Tali silaturahmi harus tetap dijaga. Toh masalahnya bukan fundamental dan cuma 20ribu. Kalau sampe ratusan ribu barulah kudu ngotot.

I just read your reply comment in your previous post (well, two posts below), and sorry, I don’t know what time the government official comes into the office. My best guess is morning, but since you got it re-printed and had to invest in an extra Rp, 20.000,-, then I guess my question was answered. What time did the official come in btw?

@Marz: Around 8.30 I think… I don’t know for sure since I came at 10. Marz, do you have this kind of problem in Singapore?

@difa: Well… not that soon but soon enough. Say around another… 5 years (when I’m 24 that is).

@amalia: not just our country, but no one could do anything without money to be frank.

iya bener juga. Ozzie, gw udah beli cd AOm3nya, cuman pas gw jalanin di laptop gw lambat bener deh trus grafiknya juga aduh jelek sekali padahal gw pake nvidia G force FX 5900 tapi kok udah out of date ya…sedih deh gak bisa main…:(

Hey Oskar,
I haven’t had this problem in Singapore, thankfully. But I know of some cases wherein it happened and the immigration tends to give you a hard time about it, especially if you are a foreigner. But thankfully most of the time, there is checking and rechecking and it tends to be avoided. =)
