MacMini is here!
Hell yeah! The launching date of MacMini is now here! I don’t know when will they come to Indonesia though, a sophisticated goods are oftend delayed in this country (just like my experience with the game Star Wars Knight of The old Republic II). It’s roughly around 5-6 Million Indonesian rupiah. I’m definitely gonna buy this if no spectacles on the way.
For the cheaper one ($499 priced), I gonna get a 1.25GHz PowerPC G4 that can runs MacOs X! Those pretty pretty OS in my disposal (as yet though…). It comes with 256MB of PC2700 (333MHz) DDR SDRAM, supports up to 1GB and also ATI Radeon 9200 with 32MB of DDR SDRAM with AGP 4X support. The harddisk space is bigger than my laptop of 40 GB Ultra ATA1. With that low price, it also have a combo drive that can read DVD ROM and burn CD-RW. With a Built-in 10/100BASE-T Ethernet and 56K V.92 modem3 this baby also includes AirPort Extreme option (based on 802.11g specification; IEEE 802.11b Wi-Fi certified) (I don’t know if it comes with the cheapest model though).
With all of those hardware crammed up in such a small box of 2 inches (5.08 cm) x 6.5 inches (16.51 cm) x 6.5 inches (16.51 cm) weighted 2.9 pounds (1.32 kg). It doesn’t comes with a monitor nor keyboard nor mouse nor speaker though. But I still love to buy it into my computer disposal. I can always make that as a mini computer that runs all of my business needs.
I’m still short around 4 million to buy it though… anyone wanted to donate a charity?
